Emmerdale Caleb Miligan grabs weapon before Joe Tate’s Ruby bombshell

Caleb Miligan’s anger reaches dangerous levels as he attempts to find a weapon, but his confrontation with Joe Tate takes an even more horrifying turn. Joe remains completely unfazed by what Caleb is doing and responds by laughing at him.

He then reveals the truth about Ruby Miligan. Joe tells Caleb that his wife has been buried alive inside a coffin. The admission leaves Caleb’s blood running cold as he realises Ruby is trapped somewhere underground with no way to free herself.

Caleb immediately begs Joe to release her, but Joe refuses to change his mind. Still blaming Caleb for Dawn Fletcher’s death, he remains unmoved by the danger Ruby is facing.

For Caleb, the confrontation turns his anger into desperation. Finding a weapon suddenly becomes secondary to getting Ruby back alive, but Joe is the person holding the information he desperately needs.

Every moment matters while Ruby remains trapped. Joe’s decision to use Ruby as part of his revenge leaves Caleb almost powerless, and the refusal to reveal any compassion only increases the tension between them. Caleb knows his wife could be running out of time while Joe continues to punish him for Dawn’s death.

His fury is unlikely to disappear, particularly after learning exactly what Joe has done. Caleb may need to control his desire for revenge if he is going to have any chance of saving Ruby before it is too late.
