Emmerdale Caleb Fears Exposure as Nicola Starts Uncovering Jimmy’s Final Secrets

Caleb has good reason to become nervous in upcoming Emmerdale scenes as Nicola begins looking more closely at Jimmy’s affairs and edges towards discovering what happened to the haulage business.

Nicola is grieving following Jimmy’s death, but she is also beginning to ask questions about the decisions he made before the tragedy. Those questions place Caleb in an uncomfortable position because he knows there is part of the story Nicola has yet to discover.

Caleb and Ruby conspired to persuade Jimmy to sell them his shares in the haulage business. Nicola does not initially know the full circumstances surrounding the deal, leaving Caleb increasingly concerned as her attention turns towards Jimmy’s business affairs.

The problem for Caleb is that Nicola is not prepared to simply accept things without answers. As she begins looking into what Jimmy did before his death, the possibility that she could uncover Caleb and Ruby’s involvement becomes increasingly real.

Her investigation is also about to lead to an even more troubling discovery. Jimmy did sell his shares, but Nicola will find herself unable to locate the money from the deal, raising an obvious and worrying question over what happened to it.

Further problems involving the family home are also waiting to emerge as Nicola continues digging. What begins with questions about Jimmy’s business dealings therefore threatens to become a much wider financial nightmare.

Caleb knows enough to understand why Nicola getting closer to the truth could spell trouble for him and Ruby. Their role in persuading Jimmy to part with the haulage business is something Nicola may have very strong feelings about once she discovers exactly what happened.

Jimmy’s death has already left Nicola facing unimaginable grief. Now, as she begins uncovering decisions he kept from her, Caleb may find himself forced to explain why he and Ruby were involved in one of Jimmy’s most important final business moves.
