EastEnders spoilers for 26–29 October 2026 with the week’s best bits and biggest talking points

From a desperate search to an emotional funeral, Walford’s residents have plenty to contend with in EastEnders this week. Jack struggles to discover what has happened to Amy, Linda is forced to confront the truth about Lee, and Kat faces saying goodbye to Zoe. Here are the week’s best bits and biggest talking points.

Biggest mystery: Where is Amy?

Jack and Max are shocked when Oscar reveals that Amy and Craig are preparing to leave Walford. They race to stop them but arrive too late, leaving Jack distraught. He launches a search with police assistance and becomes increasingly convinced Craig is responsible for Amy’s recent behaviour.

The brothers break into Craig’s flat in search of answers, while the family initially try to keep the disappearance from Denise. Darnell eventually tells her that Amy is missing, forcing Jack to explain everything. Ash later checks on Denise, believing the stress is taking its toll. An unexpected arrival in Walford also catches Jack’s attention, adding another development to the week.

Most explosive family drama: Jess confronts Lee

Jess waits for Linda and Lee at Peacock Palace after their unsuccessful search and exposes Lee’s lies in front of the Carters. Linda later finds evidence confirming Jess was telling the truth, and Lee lashes out at his family.

He tries to repair things with Nancy, but she refuses to give up parental responsibility for the baby. Linda remains determined to help her son turn things around, and Max offers Lee work. Meanwhile, Cindy clashes with Max when he arrives looking for Lee, and Lee turns up during their argument.

Most emotional moment: Kat’s farewell to Zoe

The Slaters face a last-minute problem when the order of service for Zoe’s funeral needs fixing. Jean, Mo and Honey scramble to sort it out without Kat finding out, while Jasmine struggles to finish her eulogy and finds support from Patrick.

Jasmine later protects Jean from a troublesome customer at The Albert, reminding the family of Zoe. Kat and Cindy also clash with a customer outside the pub. Kat eventually arrives for the funeral and refuses to delay proceedings. Jasmine and Josh deliver their eulogies before Kat pays tribute to her daughter, and residents gather at The Vic to share memories.

Before the funeral, Kat tells Cindy about the person she believes left Zoe to die, leaving Cindy guilt-ridden. A further revelation comes to light in The Vic on Thursday

Relationship to watch: Kojo and Jodie

Harry ropes Kojo into helping with Halloween celebrations at Harry’s Barn, unaware Jodie is making similar plans. Kojo and Jodie clash, but their relationship begins to develop despite his dislike of her. The Hawkins family try to play matchmaker as the Halloween preparations continue.
