EastEnders spoilers 2 to 5 November as Amy faces danger and Max causes trouble

There is growing concern for Amy in EastEnders between 2 and 5 November 2026 as Craig's abusive behaviour escalates and her family struggle to find her.

Meanwhile, Lee's drinking causes further problems for Linda and Nancy, Max refuses to stay out of the Carters' affairs, and Cindy is furious when she encounters him. Away from the family disagreements, Ian's bonfire plans lead to an unexpected encounter with Elaine, while Gemma tries to make new friends.

Amy faces a terrifying situation with Craig

Sean and Jack have spent the night searching for Amy, but tensions between them are running high. Lily is also upset with Sean for failing to acknowledge her, while Max's decision to give Amy her inheritance early leads to another disagreement.

After updating the family at No.27, Sean and Jack argue with Max about the money. Sean later heads to The Vic, where Lily reveals that Amy opened an online bank account using Charli's tablet.

The information is handed to the police as the search continues, but Amy is already facing a dangerous situation. She and Craig are hiding in a bedsit, where she is visibly nervous around him.

Craig has been grooming and controlling Amy, and his behaviour becomes even more disturbing as he arranges somewhere for them to stay abroad. When he discovers that her bank account has been frozen, he hits her.

The family remain desperate to find Amy, and Sean suggests recording a video plea from Denise in the hope of encouraging her to return home. With Craig's abuse escalating, there is increasing urgency surrounding the search.

Lee's drinking puts further pressure on the Carters

Linda is becoming increasingly concerned about Lee's drinking and challenges him to remain sober for a week. However, her attention is also needed by Nancy, who admits that she is feeling overwhelmed.

When Linda agrees to accompany Nancy to an antenatal class instead of Lee, he feels pushed aside. He gets drunk and arrives at the class, where his behaviour causes a scene.

Max attempts to ease the tension between Linda, Nancy and Lee, but his interference is poorly received. Linda asks him to leave and makes it clear that their family difficulties are not his business.

Max later approaches Nancy and begins criticising Lee, prompting another angry response. Nancy also tells him to stay out of their affairs, but Max subsequently confides in Lauren and vows to insert himself into Linda's family.

The Carters eventually reach a truce following their disagreement, although Max has made his intentions clear.

Cindy is furious with Max

Cindy begins the week in a positive mood after breakfast with Gina and Peter, but her happiness is short-lived when Max arrives with Linda. She decides to demonstrate her anger towards Max, leading to a confrontation between them.

The pair end up arguing in The Vic as tensions continue to build. Cindy also has a heart-to-heart with Kat, adding another conversation to a difficult week for several Walford families.

Ian's bonfire plans lead to a surprise with Elaine

Ian decides to organise a bonfire night after receiving advice from Ned, who also helps Ryder secure a job with him. However, the event runs into difficulties when Ryder's fireworks turn out to be out of date and cannot be used.

Faced with the possibility of cancelling the celebrations, Ian approaches Elaine about borrowing her fireworks. She mistakenly believes he is asking her out on a date and refuses to lend them to him to save face.

Ryder and Oscar subsequently join forces to steal Elaine's fireworks, creating further complications. Ian and Elaine become involved in an argument, but the confrontation takes an unexpected turn when he kisses her.

Gemma receives help settling into Walford

Gemma is keen to make friends and starts looking for ways to get to know the people living around her. She meets Honey for a drink at The Albert, where Honey suggests setting up a book club.

Nicola later gets involved and encourages Sharon and other Walford women to join the group. Meanwhile, Ned's efforts to help Ryder find work with Ian provide another development away from the week's family conflicts.
