EastEnders spoilers 12 to 15 October as Nancy reunites with Zack

Nancy’s return to Walford takes a more positive turn in EastEnders as she unexpectedly reconnects with Zack following continuing frustration with Linda.

Nancy remains annoyed by her mum’s meddling after returning to the Square, with tensions between the pair still unresolved.

Her mood changes when she runs into Zack, providing a much-needed distraction from the problems she has been dealing with since coming home.

The encounter develops into a reconciliation between Nancy and Zack, and the pair subsequently agree to meet for a drink in The Vic.

Their renewed connection comes during an otherwise difficult week for several Walford families.

Kat continues struggling badly following Zoe’s death, with Jean attempting to lift her spirits by giving her flowers that remind her of Zoe.

Kat later turns to alcohol, suffers a breakdown and finds herself locked in an emotional argument with Alfie.

Amy is also becoming increasingly distant from those around her as Craig continues demanding her attention.

Jack discovers that she has been skipping classes, while Penny attempts to persuade Amy to explain what has been happening.

Elsewhere, Lauren and Mark’s secret is discovered by Ned after he realises they have been meeting at No.31.

Ned uses what he knows to blackmail Mark and makes a shocking request, eventually forcing Mark to carry out his orders after Lauren urges him to protect their secret.

Ryder is also dealing with pressure from Ned as an old football coach encourages him to return to the sport.

He later opens up to Nicola about the man he has been seeing and discusses his concerns about his dad’s influence over his life.

Against everything else unfolding in Walford, Nancy and Zack’s reconciliation provides a more hopeful development as the pair agree to spend time together again.

EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
