EastEnders Ravi closes in on Max as secret is nearly exposed
EastEnders’ Ravi keeps a close eye on Max as he becomes increasingly convinced he has uncovered the truth about Priya’s secret relationship.
Ravi’s suspicions about Max intensify in EastEnders as he becomes increasingly convinced that he has finally identified the man Priya was involved with while he was away. Rather than immediately revealing what he knows, Ravi decides to keep watching and look for confirmation.
The situation follows Ravi witnessing a revealing moment between Max and Priya. Max had walked Priya home after work and, although their affair is supposedly over, the pair shared a charged interaction that Ravi secretly observed from a distance.
It gives Ravi the strongest indication yet that Max could be the mystery man he has been trying to identify. Priya has refused to tell him who she was seeing, but Ravi is now beginning to put the pieces together for himself.
Instead of confronting Priya straight away, Ravi keeps a close eye on Max. He wants more than suspicion before making his next move and comes up with a way of confirming whether his growing belief is correct.
The timing could hardly be more complicated for everyone involved. Ravi and Priya are newly engaged after repairing their relationship, and Ravi has been eager for them to tell Avani and Nugget that they are getting married.
Priya is also secretly pregnant, with Penny currently one of the few people who knows. Ravi therefore believes he is building a future with Priya without knowing either about the pregnancy or the full truth surrounding Max.
Max has equally significant plans ahead as his wedding to Cindy approaches. His involvement with Priya may have ended, but Ravi witnessing the pair together threatens to bring that hidden chapter back into the open at the worst possible moment.
Priya now faces the possibility that the choice of when to reveal her past could be taken away from her entirely. Ravi has already shown that he is unwilling to simply forget about the mystery man, and his attention has now firmly shifted towards Max.
With Ravi searching for proof, Max may soon find himself having to explain exactly what happened between him and Priya. Priya, meanwhile, has even more reason to worry about how Ravi will react if his suspicions are confirmed.
