EastEnders Priya reveals shocking pregnancy secret to Penny
EastEnders’ Priya struggles to hide her pregnancy before making a huge confession to Penny as Ravi pushes ahead with their engagement plans.
Priya finds herself under growing pressure in EastEnders as keeping her pregnancy secret becomes increasingly difficult. With Ravi looking towards their future together, she is forced to confide in someone else about what is really happening.
Ravi is excited about their engagement and wants Priya to tell Avani and Nugget that they are getting married. Priya is much less comfortable about sharing the news, leaving Ravi unaware that she is already dealing with another major development.
Priya is pregnant, but she has so far kept the news to herself. As the physical signs become harder to disguise, maintaining that secrecy begins to cause problems.
Later, Priya joins Vicki and Chelsea at The Albert as preparations for Kim and Howie’s wedding are discussed. Cindy is also involved as plans continue for her own upcoming wedding to Max, but Priya soon starts struggling with nausea.
She attempts to brush off what is happening and avoid drawing attention to herself. However, the situation takes a significant turn when she later crosses paths with Penny.
Penny is also expecting a baby, and Priya finally decides to tell her the truth. She reveals that she is pregnant too before making Penny promise that she will keep the news to herself.
It leaves Penny holding a potentially huge secret while Priya continues trying to work out what comes next. Ravi believes the pair are preparing to build a future together, but Priya has yet to tell him about the pregnancy.
There is also the unresolved situation involving Max hanging over Priya. Ravi has returned to Walford following his time away, while Priya’s connection with Max during his absence remains another part of her life that could complicate everything.
For now, Priya appears determined to control when her pregnancy becomes public. With Ravi already pushing for their engagement to become family news, however, the number of secrets surrounding their relationship is continuing to grow.
Penny could now become an important confidante for Priya as she faces some major decisions. Whether the pregnancy can remain hidden for long is another matter, particularly when Priya is already struggling to disguise how she is feeling.
