EastEnders Penny rushed to hospital after breathing crisis

Pregnant Penny Branning faces a frightening medical emergency in upcoming EastEnders scenes when she suddenly struggles to breathe and is rushed to Walford General. The hospital dash follows several worrying signs as Penny tries to focus on an important new chapter in her life.

Penny has been throwing herself into preparations for the opening of her new shop, but her partner Vinny becomes increasingly concerned that she is pushing herself too hard during her pregnancy. Penny suddenly begins struggling to breathe, with her uncle Max and Priya nearby as the emergency unfolds. They quickly get her to Walford General, where doctors must establish what is behind her sudden deterioration.
