EastEnders' Patrick returns to support Denise as Sheila's manipulation deepens

Patrick finally returns to Walford in emotional upcoming EastEnders scenes, racing to Denise's bedside as she continues her fight against leukaemia. After spending time away from his family, he wastes no time in visiting his daughter and is determined to offer the support she has been missing.

Their reunion provides one of the week's most heartfelt moments, with Patrick desperate to make Denise's difficult journey a little easier. However, while he is focused on helping his daughter through her illness, another problem is quietly growing much closer to home.

As Patrick settles back into family life, he quickly notices that all is not well between Denise and Chelsea. The strain between mother and daughter has become impossible to ignore, with Sheila sitting firmly at the centre of the growing divide.

Patrick's arrival comes at an important moment for Denise, who has been forced to rely on those around her as she undergoes treatment. Having her father beside her once again gives her much needed comfort, and Patrick is determined to be a steady presence throughout her recovery.

According to Walford sources, Patrick wants Denise to put her health above all else. Rather than becoming caught up in family disagreements, he hopes to ease the tension and help bring those closest to her back together.

Unfortunately, the situation proves far more complicated than Patrick first realises.

While Denise and Patrick reconnect, Sheila continues to work behind the scenes to strengthen her position within the family. Chelsea has gradually begun trusting her more, with Sheila building that relationship through acts of kindness and offers of support.

Those efforts have slowly lowered Chelsea's guard, allowing Sheila to spend more time around Jordan despite earlier concerns about allowing that to happen. Although Chelsea believes Sheila is simply trying to help, Denise remains deeply suspicious of her motives.

Patrick soon becomes aware that Denise's worries are not simply paranoia. He can see the obvious tension whenever Sheila is mentioned and realises the disagreement runs much deeper than an ordinary family misunderstanding.

Rather than taking sides, Patrick attempts to calm the situation before it grows even worse. His priority is making sure Denise can focus on getting stronger instead of becoming consumed by constant arguments.

However, Sheila has no intention of backing away.

In upcoming scenes, she continues pushing Chelsea's boundaries while testing just how much influence she now has over young Jordan. Her latest actions leave Denise increasingly concerned, particularly after Sheila encourages Jordan to keep a secret.

That development only strengthens Denise's belief that Sheila cannot be trusted, even if Chelsea is struggling to see the warning signs herself.

Meanwhile, Patrick's return gives the Fox Truman family a much needed boost during one of the toughest periods they have ever faced. His warmth, experience and calm approach have often helped guide the family through difficult moments, and he hopes he can do the same again.

Whether Patrick can repair the growing rift before Sheila causes lasting damage remains to be seen. With Denise concentrating on her health and Chelsea becoming increasingly drawn into Sheila's orbit, Patrick may have arrived just in time.
