EastEnders Lee and Nancy return for Linda’s final story
EastEnders confirms Lee and Nancy are returning to Walford as Linda’s children rally around their mum during the final months of her storyline.

The returns come as Linda moves towards her departure from the Square, with both of her children set to reappear for a period rather than simply making a fleeting appearance.
Their comeback immediately strengthens the family element of Linda’s final months. With so much of her life in Walford connected to her children, bringing Lee and Nancy back gives the storyline the opportunity to focus on those relationships before Linda leaves.
Lee has been away from Albert Square for some time, while Nancy has also built a life beyond Walford. Their decision to return means Linda will have more of her family around her as events develop.
The timing could also prove important because Linda is already facing several emotional decisions. Her complicated relationship with Max remains unresolved, while Clive has emerged as another possibility for her future.
Linda has also been focused on Ollie, particularly as he reaches major milestones of his own. Having Lee and Nancy back could give her additional support while she works through what she wants from the next chapter of her life.
The returns are set to be part of Linda’s wider exit story rather than standalone appearances. That should allow both characters to become properly involved in what is happening rather than simply turning up for a single goodbye.
