Kim and Howie’s wedding plans take an emotional turn in upcoming EastEnders scenes when the couple decide to exchange their vows inside Denise’s hospital room.
With Denise still receiving treatment, Kim and Howie bring their wedding to her bedside so she can be part of their special moment. However, the celebrations are about to become even more emotional when Denise’s doctor arrives with an important update.
The family are told that a provisional stem cell match has been found for Denise, giving them fresh hope at a time when they desperately need some good news.
After the hospital ceremony, newlyweds Kim and Howie return to Walford to continue celebrating at the community centre. Their happiness is soon interrupted when they discover Ryder and Jodie helping themselves to the wedding drinks without permission.
The discovery leaves Kim far from impressed and sets up further trouble involving the new arrivals in the Square. For Kim and Howie, however, their unusual wedding day will be one they are unlikely to forget, with Denise able to witness their vows and the family finally receiving some encouraging news about her treatment.
