EastEnders Fans Question Whether Craig Is Really Dead as Amy’s Nightmare Continues
EastEnders viewers question whether Craig has really died after Amy’s escape, as her police statement sparks fresh theories about what happens next.
EastEnders viewers are questioning whether Craig Ingram has really met his end following his terrifying confrontation with Amy Mitchell, with fresh theories suggesting her ordeal may be far from over.
Wednesday’s episode saw Amy desperately fight back against Craig after weeks of manipulation, grooming and violence.
Fearing for her safety, she struck him with a candlestick, leaving him motionless on the floor with blood surrounding his head.

Todays episode brought Amy back to Albert Square, where Jack and Denise were relieved to see her home.
However, her injuries and reluctance to explain what happened raised concerns, particularly when she gave the police an account that left out the confrontation.

Although Craig appeared gravely injured, viewers were not shown any medical confirmation of his death, leaving some convinced he could return.
One viewer questioned: “Craig is so not dead, is he?”
Another shared similar suspicions, commenting: “Loved the Amy and Sean scene, I hope she confides in him about Craig asap, but bad feeling Craig isn’t dead”.
But Craig’s possible survival is only part of the discussion. Amy’s decision not to tell the police exactly what happened has raised fresh questions about whether her actions could have consequences.
One viewer predicted: “Her lying to the police is clearly going to become relevant between now and New Year”.
That theory could be particularly interesting given the mysterious New Year flashforward involving Jack and Max.
Could Amy’s ordeal be connected to the events viewers have already glimpsed, or is the soap deliberately leading audiences in another direction?
Another viewer simply wrote: “Poor Amy, she didn’t deserve any of this”.
Could Craig still be alive, and will Amy’s decision to hide the truth leave her facing another difficult chapter?
EastEnders continues on BBC One.
