EastEnders Denzel Makes Painful Amy Decision After Howie Warning

Denzel is forced to make a difficult decision about Amy in upcoming EastEnders scenes after becoming convinced there may still be a spark between them. The former couple separated two years ago, but Denzel begins seriously considering whether they could give their relationship another chance.

His feelings appear strong enough for him to contemplate asking Amy out again. Before he can act on those thoughts, however, Denzel receives some fatherly advice from Howie that causes him to reconsider.

Howie warns his son about the situation, and Denzel ultimately decides against trying to restart the relationship. It is a significant change of heart considering he had only recently been thinking about making the first move himself.

Amy knows nothing about Denzel’s private doubts and reaches a very different conclusion. Believing there may still be something between them, she decides to take a chance and asks him out.

By that point Denzel has already made his decision, leaving him in the uncomfortable position of having to reject her. Amy is understandably hurt, while Denzel is left sticking with a choice that appears to have been far from straightforward.

The situation could prove especially complicated because Denzel’s decision does not necessarily mean his feelings for Amy have disappeared. His original plan to ask her out shows that he had been considering another chance before Howie encouraged him to think carefully about what that could mean.

Whether Denzel eventually questions his decision remains to be seen, but the former couple are once again left on different pages. Amy’s rejection also comes just as another unexpected development begins to demand her attention elsewhere.
