EastEnders Cindy Beale turns on Lauren after discovering devastating betrayal
Cindy turns on Lauren in EastEnders after discovering she knew about Max's affair before the wedding and failed to warn her.
Lauren finds herself firmly in Cindy's firing line in upcoming EastEnders scenes when another painful truth about Max's affair comes to light. Cindy is already furious about what happened, but discovering that Lauren knew more than she admitted gives her somebody else to blame.
Cindy learns that Lauren knew about Max's affair before the wedding. Worse still from Cindy's perspective, Lauren allowed the ceremony to go ahead without warning her about what she knew.
The discovery leaves Cindy furious as she confronts the reality that another person close to the situation could have prevented her from walking into the wedding unaware of the truth. Lauren now has to deal with the consequences of keeping quiet.
Cindy makes her feelings towards Lauren unmistakable and warns that she is now in her sights. With Cindy already determined to make Max pay, her anger is spreading to the people she believes played a part in allowing the betrayal to continue.
Lauren has problems of her own as Mark unexpectedly returns to Walford and forces her to confront feelings she has been attempting to put behind her. Cindy turning against her therefore comes at an already complicated time.
Exactly how far Cindy intends to take her anger against Lauren is not revealed in the upcoming information. Her warning makes one thing clear, however: as far as Cindy is concerned, Max is no longer the only person with something to answer for.
