Could Sadie's Secret Recording Help Joe Destroy Caleb and Ruby in Emmerdale?
Could Sadie's secret recording help Joe destroy Caleb and Ruby? His revenge plot intensifies as Caleb's attempt to undermine Sadie fails.
Sadie King's involvement in Joe Tate's revenge plot takes another turn in Emmerdale next week when Caleb Miligan's attempt to undermine her backfires, leaving him increasingly vulnerable to the woman who has been secretly working against his marriage.
Joe recruited Sadie to help destroy Caleb and Ruby's relationship, blaming the couple for events surrounding Dawn's death. Since arriving in the village, Sadie has carefully gained Ruby's trust, securing a position in her wine business while secretly working to turn the couple against one another.
Her manipulation has already proved successful. By exploiting Caleb's jealousy over Ruby's relationship with Ross, Sadie managed to draw him into an affair, giving Joe a damaging secret he could potentially use against his enemies.
Caleb has since attempted to regain control by interfering with Ruby's order lists, hoping to make Sadie appear incompetent and damage her relationship with his wife.
However, the plan falls apart when Ruby arrives celebrating Sadie's handling of the situation, making it clear that their friendship remains intact.
Caleb realises his attempt to discredit Sadie has failed, while Ruby remains unaware that the woman she trusts has been working with Joe.
When Caleb and Sadie are alone, she confronts him over his betrayal and reveals that she understood the order lists all along. Rather than needing his assistance, she had simply wanted to spend time with him.
The situation becomes even more dangerous for Caleb because Sadie possesses footage of their intimate encounter, potentially giving Joe the evidence he needs to expose the affair.
However, Sadie's personal interest in Caleb raises questions about whether she will continue following Joe's instructions or begin using the secret for her own purposes.
With Ruby still unaware of the deception surrounding her, could Sadie's recording finally expose Caleb's betrayal, or will Joe continue allowing his accomplice to manipulate the couple from within their own home?
Emmerdale continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
