Coronation Street's Lily stumbles across Jodie's hidden secret
Lily makes an unexpected discovery after finding Jodie's hidden trinket box, leaving David fearing the family's problems are far from over.
David Platt and Shona Platt are hoping Harper's return home will allow the family to look towards a brighter future, but it isn't long before another unexpected discovery threatens to derail those hopes.
With everyone distracted following Harper's homecoming, Lily quietly heads downstairs, unaware she is about to uncover something Jodie had desperately wanted to keep hidden - a gun stolen from Kevins garage!
It doesn't take long for David to learn what Lily has found, and he quickly realises the situation could be far more serious than he first imagined. Already struggling to cope with the fallout from Sarah's arrest and Jodie's unexpected arrival at No.8, David is left wondering exactly what has been hidden inside the box.
The discovery places Jodie under even greater scrutiny as David looks for answers. Having already arrived asking if she could stay with the family, she now finds herself facing difficult questions about why the trinket box was concealed and why she has the gun.
Jodie insists there is an explanation, maintaining that the gun is fake. However, her explanation does little to reassure David, who has every reason to remain cautious after everything the family has been through.
For Lily, what began as innocent curiosity quickly turns into something much more significant. Without realising it, she has uncovered a secret that could have major consequences for everyone under David and Shona's roof.
The discovery also leaves David facing another impossible dilemma. With Harper finally back where she belongs, his priority is protecting his family and ensuring their home remains a safe place. Yet every new revelation surrounding Jodie makes that task increasingly difficult.
As suspicion continues to grow, David is left questioning whether Jodie has been telling the truth at all. With trust becoming harder to come by, the Platts soon realise that Harper's long-awaited homecoming may have opened the door to yet another family crisis.
