Cassie secretly spikes Ross's drink with pain medication in Coronation Street as she attempts to force him out of Tyrone's life.

When Amy prepares Ross a smoothie in his travel mug before he leaves, Cassie waits until nobody is watching. Seizing the opportunity, she secretly drops pain medication into his drink, hoping the tablets will affect the outcome of his upcoming drugs test.
Cassie believes the failed test will damage Ross's future and convince Tyrone that he cannot be trusted. Certain nobody has seen what she has done, she quietly walks away convinced her plan has worked.
Ross has no idea his drink has been tampered with and leaves believing he is simply heading to an important appointment. As events begin to unfold, however, Cassie's decision threatens to create far bigger problems than she had anticipated.
Her actions mark another attempt to keep Ross away from Tyrone, but the scheme places her at risk if the truth comes to light. What begins as a secret act soon develops into a situation she can no longer control.
As the consequences begin to emerge, Cassie faces the possibility that her determination to get rid of Ross could cost her the trust of those closest to her.
