Coronation Street tour offers two free child tickets with every paying adult

Coronation Street fans can take two children onto the famous cobbles free during selected October half-term weekends. The Coronation Street Experience in Greater Manchester is offering the deal on its standard guided tours, making a family visit to Weatherfield more affordable.

The offer applies on 24 and 25 October, followed by 31 October and 1 November 2026. A full-paying adult ticket costs £40, with up to two children under 16 admitted free when the code KIDSFREE is entered at checkout.

One adult and two eligible children can therefore visit for £40 in admission costs. The promotion covers new bookings only, is subject to availability and cannot be combined with another offer.

Visitors join a guide for approximately 90 minutes around the working exterior set, passing familiar locations including the Rovers Return, Roy’s Rolls and The Kabin. Along the way, they can hear about the programme’s history and production while seeing how the buildings fit together beyond the television frame.

There are opportunities to take photographs outside Underworld, Webster’s Garage and other recognisable Weatherfield landmarks. Tours operate around production requirements, so access is through an organised visit rather than an opportunity to wander onto the set during filming.

The wider experience includes a cinema presentation celebrating more than six decades of Coronation Street, alongside an exhibition of costumes, props and replica interiors. Fans can step behind the bar of the replica Rovers Return and ring the original pub bell.

This is the standard guided experience, with the outdoor set and exhibition included. Cast appearances belong to the separate Star Tours, which are not covered by the half-term offer.

Families should allow around two and a half hours for the whole visit. Much of the guided route is outdoors, so comfortable shoes and waterproof clothing are sensible for an autumn trip.

Visitors using a wheelchair or mobility scooter should arrange the appropriate access ticket when booking, as spaces are limited on each tour. The exterior route includes cobbles, kerbs and uneven surfaces.

Bookings are available through the official half-term offer page, where families can choose an eligible date.
