Coronation Street spoilers 5 to 9 October as Platt showdown ends in a shooting
David calls an ambulance, Shona turns on Lily and Doug warns her about Jodie. Elsewhere, Lisa supports Kit and Sam admits his money troubles.
Coming up on Coronation Street, someone is shot as Shona and Jodie’s feud reaches a dangerous turning point. David calls for an ambulance, while elsewhere Lisa learns about Kit’s cancer and Sam is caught with someone else’s bank card.
Before the confrontation, Jodie contacts Doug’s doctor and claims he poses a danger to the family.
A mental health team arrives to assess him, leaving Shona tearfully apologising as he is led away. Doug uses the moment to warn her to watch her back around Jodie.
A recording then causes a painful confrontation at a party.
When Lily’s phone is connected to a docking station, the sound of Harper crying fills the room, leaving Shona convinced she has discovered who has been making her question her own mind.
Furious, Shona accuses Lily of recording the baby, while David tries to contain her anger. Lily insists she has no idea how the recording ended up on her phone and runs from the party upset.
The conflict between Shona and Jodie later erupts at No.8, where accusations and devastating secrets push one of them to their limit.
Lives hang in the balance, and in later scenes David tells the ambulance service that someone has been shot.
Asha arrives with the paramedics, alongside a firearms officer.
At the police station, Lisa challenges Kit over his unanswered calls before he reveals he has cancer.
Stunned by the news, she promises that both she and the force will support him however they can.
Meanwhile, Leanne offers Sam work at Speed Daal to demonstrate her trust in him. He spots Idris’s credit card on a table and is later about to enter its details into a crypto app, used for digital currencies, when Idris appears behind him.
Idris retrieves the card, leaving an embarrassed Sam to explain himself. He admits he hoped to make enough money to repay Idris and clear his debt to Nick.
Sally has concerns of her own when she calls at the café.
She finds Lucy skipping school and having a drink with Christina, and is far from impressed.
