Coronation Street spoilers 30 Aug–4 Sep 2026: Debbie Hits Another Crisis

Debbie’s condition becomes increasingly concerning as Coronation Street delivers an emotional run of episodes for several Weatherfield families.

After accidentally turning up at the hotel in her slippers, Debbie later heads to the salon and offers Bethany a full Eighties makeover. Her confusion takes over and she almost cuts Bethany’s hair before Maria steps in.

Later, when Betsy knocks cutlery from a table during lunch with Lauren, Debbie mistakenly jokes that she must be drunk. Ronnie also begins questioning whether Debbie’s birthday celebrations should be scaled back.

For Betsy, there is an important breakthrough when she stands for the first time since her stroke. Lauren accidentally spoils the moment, following an earlier visit where Betsy was frustrated that Lauren kept texting Ollie.

Elsewhere, Celeste dies after her health fails during an encounter with Gemma. Gemma tells Bernie the terrible news, but Celeste leaves behind a devastating family revelation.

Ryan breaks difficult news to Todd, who later discovers Celeste requested a shindig instead of a funeral, only for the gathering to descend into a family row.

Nina says goodbye to Asha, Amy and Summer before sharing an emotional moment with Abi in Seb’s memorial garden and leaving for her new Whitby job.

Ronnie’s problems escalate when he considers stealing Idris’ car for gangster Fiona, while Jodie’s pursuit of Kit creates friction with Bethany and Shona.
