Coronation Street spoilers 25–30 October as Tyrone punches Chesney and Sally faces Halloween terror

Coronation Street is heading for a terrifying Halloween week as Sally attacks a mysterious figure during a power cut, while Tyrone's anger gets the better of him and leaves Chesney punched. Adam finally gets his proposal plans back on track with Alya, but Lucy's secret journal threatens to cause more problems for Sally and Tim.

Ryan also begins to suspect Bethany is pregnant, while Idris considers a new business venture that could bring him into conflict with Carla. Meanwhile, Christina faces uncomfortable questions from Lucy, and Daniel receives some advice from Ken after his petition proves to be a disaster.

Sally attacks a mystery figure during Halloween horror

Sally hears a noise outside and spots what appears to be a ghost at the window. Worried that Mick could be involved, given that he has escaped before, she shares her concerns with Lisa and Carla. Lisa tries to reassure her, but Sally remains on edge.

When the landline rings twice without anyone answering, her anxiety grows. A sudden power cut then plunges the whole street into darkness, and a ghostly figure appears behind her. Reacting instinctively, Sally grabs a vase and strikes the figure over the head.

Who has crept up behind Sally, and what will happen when the identity of the mysterious figure is revealed?

Lucy's journal leaves Sally and Tim horrified

Sally and Tim are surprised when social worker Ruth arrives after Lucy has apparently contacted her. Lucy throws Sally a victorious look before heading out, leaving Ruth to explain why she has come.

Ruth reveals that Lucy has been keeping a journal in which she accuses Sally of being very controlling and claims she says nasty things behind her back.

The discovery leaves Sally and Tim horrified, raising questions about Lucy's feelings towards Sally and what has been happening at home.

Lucy also rushes into the undertakers and demands to know why Christina has a photograph of her mum on her keyring.

Christina must find a way to explain herself, but will she be able to talk her way out of the situation?

Tyrone punches Chesney after Ross stirs up trouble

Tyrone becomes concerned when he discovers a bruise on Dorin, who claims that Aled punched him. Ross encourages Tyrone to confront Chesney and Gemma about the alleged bullying.

Tyrone visits them and announces that Dorin will not be attending the quads' party. When Ross arrives, he deliberately ignites a row between Tyrone and Chesney. Desperate to prove that he is not a pushover, Tyrone punches Chesney.

Fiz later reminds Tyrone that he owes Chesney an apology. Gemma and Chesney arrive at the Rovers' Halloween party, leaving Tyrone with a decision to make. Will he apologise?

Adam finally proposes to Alya

Adam is furious with Debbie after she ruins his carefully planned proposal. Debbie realises with horror that she has given Paula the key to his room, potentially jeopardising the surprise.

Adam eventually gets another chance to pop the question. He takes out the ring and asks Alya to marry him, and she accepts as everyone cheers.

Ken, Daniel, Tracy and Amy later join Adam and Alya for engagement drinks. However, the celebrations also bring disappointing news when Daniel admits that his petition has been a disaster. Ken encourages him to write a piece for the Gazette.

Ryan suspects Bethany is pregnant

Ryan calls at the flat and finds Bethany looking tired and pale. She claims she is hungover before rushing to the bathroom to be sick.

Ryan has spotted folic acid pills in Bethany's bag, however, and asks her whether she is pregnant. Will Bethany explain what is happening, or will Ryan be left wondering whether his suspicions are correct?

Idris sets his sights on Carla's factory

Carla remonstrates with Idris after he parks too close to her car. Idris turns on the charm, but Lisa senses that Carla does not like him.

Idris later tells Leanne that, with the bistro deal off the table, he might focus on buying the factory instead.

Leanne warns him that Carla will never sell up, but Idris appears to be considering his next move.
