Coronation Street spoilers 24–28 August: Tim’s guilt and Lucy’s secret call

Coronation Street brings four eventful episodes from 24–28 August, with Tim struggling over Rachel’s murder and Lucy secretly contacting her imprisoned dad. Elsewhere, Ollie’s attempt to intervene in trouble involving Christina and Jake ends with an arrest, while Sarah takes drastic action behind bars.

Monday 24 August: Tim makes a difficult confession

Tim admits that he feels guilty over the murder of Lucy’s mum Rachel, bringing painful events from the past back into focus. His confession comes as Lucy’s situation is set to become increasingly complicated.

Elsewhere, Ollie and Ben compete against each other at an intense craft beer event. Bernie also discovers a new family connection when Celeste arrives and reveals she is her aunt.

Wednesday 26 August: Lucy makes a secret call

Lucy secretly contacts her imprisoned dad, who reminds her of their story. The conversation takes place without Sally and Tim knowing and comes shortly before Lucy faces questions about her current home.

Maggie and Brian also spend an unexpected night together. Meanwhile, Christina gets drunk and teenager Jake throws water over her, setting the scene for a much more serious confrontation.

Thursday 27 August: Ollie is arrested

The trouble involving Christina and Jake escalates when Ollie pushes Jake off Christina. Ollie is subsequently arrested for assault, leaving him facing potentially serious consequences.

Sarah also takes drastic action by creating a makeshift weapon using snooker balls inside a sock. Elsewhere, a social worker asks Lucy whether she is happy living with Sally and Tim.

Friday 28 August: Jake is hit by guilt

Jake discovers that Ollie may be facing prison and is left feeling guilty about how events have unfolded. What began with the confrontation involving Christina has now developed into something far more serious.

George also returns and tells Christina what he has decided about their relationship. Bernie briefly opens up about a past rift between her mum and Celeste, revealing more about their family history.
