Coronation Street spoilers 24–28 August: 5 storylines collide
Coronation Street spoilers for 24–28 August bring Ollie’s arrest, Tim’s guilt, Lucy’s secret call, Sarah’s drastic move and a decision for Christina.
Several Coronation Street stories collide from 24–28 August as an argument involving Christina and Jake leaves Ollie facing serious consequences. Tim is also troubled by Rachel’s murder, Lucy makes secret contact with her dad, and Sarah takes drastic action behind bars.
Ollie goes from competition to arrest
Ollie starts out competing against Ben in an intense craft beer event, but his attention is soon pulled towards a far more serious situation. After Christina gets drunk and Jake throws water over her, Ollie steps into the confrontation.
Ollie pushes Jake off Christina and is arrested for assault. By Friday, Jake is left feeling guilty after discovering that Ollie could be facing prison.
Tim’s guilt follows Lucy home
Tim admits he feels guilty over the murder of Lucy’s mum Rachel, while Lucy secretly contacts her imprisoned dad. During their conversation, he reminds Lucy of their story.
Lucy’s living arrangements then come under scrutiny when a social worker asks whether she is happy living with Sally and Tim. It leaves another question hanging over the family as Tim continues to wrestle with the past.
Sarah prepares herself behind bars
Sarah takes drastic action by creating a makeshift weapon using snooker balls inside a sock. Her decision becomes one of the more alarming developments unfolding away from the cobbles.
While Ollie could soon be facing prison himself, Sarah is already dealing with the realities of life behind bars. Her improvised weapon shows just how seriously she is taking her situation.
Christina faces two very different developments
Christina’s drunken encounter with Jake ultimately helps trigger the incident that leads to Ollie’s arrest. She then has another important conversation when George returns after taking time to think.
George tells Christina what he has decided about their relationship. Elsewhere, Maggie and Brian unexpectedly spend a night together, adding another relationship development to the week.
Bernie hears more about her family past
Celeste arrives and reveals that she is Bernie’s aunt, before Bernie later opens up about a past rift between her mum and Celeste. The conversations provide some background to the family connection as other stories take centre stage.
With Ollie facing possible prison, Lucy being questioned about her home and George reaching a relationship decision, Weatherfield ends the week with several characters facing uncertain futures.
