Coronation Street spoilers for 21 to 25 September reveal Debbie’s desperate attempt to help Eva, Christina’s unsettling discovery and Kit’s outburst.
Debbie makes a terrifying discovery at the pub in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, but her attempt to find help runs into difficulty. With Eva unconscious at the bottom of the cellar steps, Debbie becomes confused after heading out to raise the alarm.
The emergency follows Eva’s decision to close the pub because she feels dreadful. A noise from downstairs interrupts her, but what happens between that moment and Debbie finding her remains a mystery.
Earlier in the week, Debbie enjoys a much happier evening thanks to a thoughtful gesture from Glenda. With the pub quiz focused on questions about the eighties, Debbie is in her element, and Ronnie’s smile tells Glenda that he has noticed what she has done.
There is also an unexpected encounter at home when Debbie and Ronnie find a girl emerging from Carl’s bedroom, followed by a semi-naked Carl. The visitor introduces herself as Kylie, leading Debbie to assume she is Kylie Minogue, while Carl also begins a shift at Street Cars.
Meanwhile, Christina’s delight at becoming assistant funeral director soon gives way to unease. George is showing her how to access Rachel’s file on the computer when he explains that Rachel was Lucy’s mother.
That information leaves Christina quietly horrified, and she quickly leaves. Her reaction raises questions about why learning Rachel’s identity has affected her so deeply.
Sally also has a difficult encounter involving Lucy’s mum after looking at an art project. Concerned by a picture of an angry woman holding her head, she asks whether it depicts Lucy’s mother, only for Lucy to react furiously.
Kit’s temper causes problems during Bernie’s appointment, which he attends alongside Dev. When Bernie expresses confidence that her test will be negative, he loses his temper and storms away.
A further outburst with a suspect brings a firm intervention from Lisa. She sends him home for the day and warns that his behaviour could cost him his job.
Susie has better luck getting her point across, persuading a reluctant Ben and Eva to let Glenda share her singing video on the Little Big Shotz website. However, Maggie’s disapproval means the decision does not please everyone.
