Coronation Street spoilers 14-18 September: Shona horror, Kit struggles and Bethany romance

Coronation Street has another packed run of episodes coming up from 14 to 18 September 2026, with Shona facing a frightening situations at home, Kit continuing to struggle following his cancer diagnosis and Bethany finding herself drawn closer to Ryan.

Shocking week for Shona, when a stressful morning ends with her burning a cake and setting off the smoke alarm.

Unbeknown to her, Jodie is watching from the garden and appears to take pleasure in seeing her sister struggle.

Things become far more serious after Shona falls asleep on the sofa and Jodie secretly enters the house.

Doug and David later arrive to find the kitchen full of smoke and Shona unresponsive, leaving David desperately trying to wake her as concerns grow for both Shona and Harper.

Shona faces another frightening moment later in the week when she returns home and hears Harper crying from inside the annexe.

She is horrified to discover the door locked, and David arrives to find her beside herself with worry as she desperately tries to reach the baby.

Kit is also having a difficult time as he attempts to cope with everything surrounding his cancer diagnosis.

He takes a woman back to the flat, but when she tries to kiss him, Kit admits he is not in the right headspace.

Bethany then appears just as the woman storms out.

Bethany has problems of her own after visiting Sarah in prison and telling her that Kit has moved on.

However, another possible romance soon begins to develop when Ryan sends Bethany a message and Kit encourages her to give things a chance.

Bethany later meets Ryan for drinks and enjoys hearing his funny stories, leaving the question of whether she will finally make a move.

Meanwhile, Kit turns up to a family pizza night sporting two black eyes.

Bernie is worried about him and shares her belief that her own cancer test will bring good news, but whether Kit will finally open up about what he is going through remains to be seen.

Elsewhere, Summer finds herself intrigued by newcomer Marco after confronting him over her artwork.

Marco admits using the situation as an excuse to see her again and asks her out, although Summer later admits to Asha and Amy that she still has reservations.

There are also difficult scenes ahead for Debbie when Carl realises she has forgotten plans to meet Ronnie for dinner.

Debbie quickly calls Ronnie and claims work held her up, leaving Carl increasingly concerned about what he is seeing.

It is set to be an exciting and emotional week on Coronation Street, with major developments for Shona, Kit, Bethany and Debbie as several storylines take dramatic new turns.
