Coronation Street reveals Sam Blakeman’s secret as Eva Price suffers terrifying fall

Coronation Street has revealed that Sam is responsible for Eva’s fall down the Rovers’ cellar stairs.

The early streaming episode shows an accidental encounter ending in disaster, leaving Sam terrified of admitting what happened.

Eva has been feeling unwell with a cold and decides to shut the pub ahead of its usual closing time.

With Ben accompanying Susie to an audition in London, she is working alone and wants to finish up so she can rest.

However, Sam arrives while she is completing her remaining jobs. He is searching for his missing phone, which has become a growing source of tension with Nick as Sam continues to struggle with his mental health.

Eva approaches him calmly and asks why he is there, but Sam panics. In his rush to get past her, he accidentally sends her tumbling down the cellar steps.

The incident leaves Eva unconscious and Sam horrified by what he has caused. Rather than immediately explaining his involvement, he is reluctant to speak up, leaving the circumstances of her injuries unknown to those around her.

Coming up tomorrow, Debbie discovers Eva in the cellar, but her confusion means help does not arrive straight away.

Glenda subsequently finds out what has happened and calls an ambulance.

As news spreads, questions begin circulating about whether Eva suffered an accident or someone deliberately pushed her.

Sam knows the answer, but revealing it would mean admitting his own part in the fall.
