Coronation Street Nina Stunned by Shock Call After Interview Disaster

Nina Lucas believes her hopes of a fresh start have collapsed in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, after returning from a job interview in Whitby convinced she has performed terribly.

Nina had travelled to the seaside town to interview for a position at an art gallery, but arrives back in Weatherfield feeling anything but confident. She tells Roy that she thinks she made a complete mess of the interview and is certain she has blown her chance.

Disappointed by how she thinks things have gone, Nina heads to the Rovers to drown her sorrows. At that point she appears to have accepted that the Whitby opportunity is over, but she has seriously underestimated how well she came across.

Nina later receives an unexpected call from the gallery and is stunned to learn that she has actually been offered the job. Instead of the rejection she had been preparing herself for, she suddenly has the opportunity for the fresh start she wanted.

The news leaves Nina with an important decision about what happens next. Mollie Gallagher’s departure from Coronation Street has already been confirmed, although it has not been confirmed that the Whitby job will form part of Nina’s eventual exit storyline.

For now, Nina has gone from believing she had failed spectacularly to discovering that the gallery wants her after all. The question is no longer whether she can get the job, but what she decides to do with the opportunity now it is hers.
