Kit takes a new approach to dealing with Kacey as he attempts to put pressure on her through her son Brandon.
Bethany is told that Kit intends to use Brandon as a way of getting to Kacey, who continues to pose a serious problem for Sarah. Rather than allowing Kacey to dictate events, Kit appears determined to find a weakness that could force her hand.
His plan quickly becomes more dramatic when he ends up chasing Brandon. The pursuit brings Bernie into the situation when she intervenes before things can go any further.
Kit’s decision to target Brandon shows how seriously he is taking the threat surrounding Kacey, but involving her son also risks escalating an already volatile situation.
With Kacey continuing to frighten Sarah from inside prison, Kit clearly believes applying pressure from outside could make a difference. Whether Brandon becomes the key to breaking Kacey’s hold remains to be seen.
