George finally returns after taking time away to think, leaving Christina anxiously waiting to discover whether their relationship has a future.
Christina faces an anxious wait as George finally returns to Weatherfield after taking time to consider the future of their relationship.
Christina is nervous about what George has decided, but Todd discovers that George has already returned and gone straight back to work. Todd then tells him about Christina’s drunken behaviour while he was away.
It leaves George with even more to consider before he finally faces Christina. When the pair eventually speak, George tells her that he has had time to think.
The big question is whether that time apart has convinced George that their relationship deserves another chance or whether the problems between them have become too difficult to overcome.
Christina clearly wants an answer, and after days of uncertainty, George is finally ready to give her one. Whatever he decides could determine whether their relationship continues or comes to an end.
