Coronation Street fans spot a lovely Carla and Lisa wedding detail on Lisa’s desk as Betsy and Debbie face emotional scenes.
Todays Coronation Street delivered some emotional scenes for Betsy and Debbie, but dedicated Swarla fans also spotted a lovely little detail in the background.
Betsy continues to adjust following her stroke and was persuaded by Lauren to go out for lunch at the Bistro.
The outing became uncomfortable when Betsy accidentally knocked cutlery from the table. Lauren quickly stepped in to help, but things became more awkward when Debbie mistakenly joked that Betsy was drunk.
The comment left Betsy embarrassed, while Debbie was clearly upset when she realised what she had said.
It was another difficult moment for both characters, with Betsy still navigating her recovery and Debbie continuing to struggle with her own problems.
Away from the heavier scenes, Swarla fans found something much sweeter to enjoy.
The dedicated Swarla fans were quick to spot a lovely little detail on Lisa’s desk: photographs from her wedding to Carla.
The pictures were simply part of Lisa’s everyday workspace, with no big moment drawing attention to them, which made the detail feel even more natural.
For fans who have followed Carla and Lisa’s relationship closely, it was a sweet reminder of how far they have come.
It was also a nice example of the Corrie set design team paying attention to the smaller details, and especially during what fans have jokingly called the “Swarla drought”, when Carla and Lisa have not been on screen together as much, the wedding photos were an especially cute touch.
