Coronation Street Christina cuts short Sally and Lucy’s visit

Sally and Lucy go to the undertakers to order Rachel’s plaque, but their visit ends abruptly. Sally produces some family photo albums, and Christina says another client is due any minute.

Christina then ushers them out. The timing of her response raises a question, although nothing in the details explains why she wants the visit to end.

Lucy has already been left furious by a decision at home. Following Sally’s advice about her recent behaviour, Tim has told her she is grounded for the rest of the week.

The visit to arrange Rachel’s plaque gives Sally and Lucy another uncomfortable moment. Christina has sent them away, leaving the reason for her haste unanswered.

Christina’s response brings Sally and Lucy’s visit to a sudden end. Watch Coronation Street on ITV1 and ITVX.
