Christmas Carol Goes Wrong Brings Original Stars Back to London

Mischief Theatre founders Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer are returning to Christmas Carol Goes Wrong for a limited run at Wyndham's Theatre in London, reprising the roles they originated in the production.

The pair will appear from 14 to 23 January 2027, joining a comedy that follows the Cornley Amateur Drama Society as its attempt to stage Charles Dickens's festive classic descends into chaos.

Who is returning to the production?

Lewis and Sayer are among the original creative team behind The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Their work is known for turning theatrical mishaps, collapsing scenery and missed cues into carefully choreographed comedy.

In Christmas Carol Goes Wrong, the amateur company attempts to deliver a traditional festive story but struggles with missing actors, miscommunication and increasingly disastrous stage mishaps.

When can audiences see them?

The production runs at Wyndham's Theatre until 23 January 2027, with Lewis and Sayer appearing during the final part of the run. An additional matinee has also been added for 20 January.

Tickets and performance details are available through the theatre's official booking channels.
