Are Emmerdale and Coronation Street on next week ITV schedule 9 to 15 November 2026?
Are Emmerdale and Coronation Street on next week? ITV schedule, football changes and a few story teasers.
Emmerdale and Coronation Street return to ITV1 for the week of 9–15 November 2026, but both are scheduled to have only three new episodes.
The usual evening arrangement is disrupted, with football taking over ITV1 on Thursday.
Are Emmerdale and Corrie on next week?
Yes. Both soaps are listed for Monday 9, Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November. Emmerdale starts at 8pm, followed by Coronation Street at 8.30pm, each in a half-hour slot on ITV1.
There are no new episodes currently listed for Thursday 12 or Friday 13 November, or over the weekend. ITVX generally makes the day's new episodes available from 7am, giving viewers an earlier option on the three scheduled dates.
Why are the ITV soaps missing on Thursday?
ITV1 is showing England against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday 12 November, meaning its regular soap slots are displaced. Friday also has no new instalments listed, leaving both programmes with just three episodes for the week.

The next scheduled episodes are expected on Monday 16 November. Viewers should consult the latest ITV1 listings in case the broadcaster changes its plans.
What happens in Emmerdale and Coronation Street during the shortened week?
Although viewers will only get three episodes of each soap during the week commencing Monday 9 November, ITV has plenty of major storylines packed into the reduced schedule.
In Emmerdale, Samson's expected return from prison is thrown into doubt when Cain arranges for him to attack Tom. The consequences are devastating for the Dingle family, with Sam turning violently against his own brother after discovering what has happened. Belle, meanwhile, makes the difficult decision to confront Tom herself, despite fears about how he might retaliate.
Elsewhere, Kim publicly acknowledges Thea as her daughter, while Robert offers Kev an opportunity to work at the Smoke House after being impressed by his cooking. Aaron is far less enthusiastic about the arrangement, and Caleb discovers that his attempts to outmanoeuvre Sadie have failed.
In Coronation Street, a special episode brings Debbie together with Abi, Bernie, Christina, Sally and Glenda to create a photo book for Carl's 40th birthday. However, the photographs bring painful memories and unresolved disagreements to the surface, leading to emotional confrontations before the women finally come together.
Carla also faces the prospect of losing Underworld, while Kit collapses outside the tram station and subsequently discovers that Bethany is pregnant. Elsewhere, Brody threatens to expose Idris, and Mary faces an upsetting departure from the flower shop.
