Wentworth is officially back.

Production has begun on Wentworth: Halfway Home, a brand new drama that continues the story of one of Australia’s most successful television series, with several fan favourites returning for the next chapter.

The new series moves beyond the prison walls that defined the original show, following former inmates as they attempt to rebuild their lives after release while facing fresh dangers on the outside.

Leading the returning cast are Katrina Milosevic as Susan “Boomer” Jenkins, Nicole da Silva as Franky Doyle and Kate Box as Lou Kelly.

Filming gets underway in Melbourne on Monday 27 July, with the series set to premiere exclusively on BINGE later in 2026.
