The Chase's Vixen joins Beauty and the Beast this Christmas

The Chase star Jenny Ryan is bringing a touch of magic to Leicester this Christmas as the Enchantress in Beauty and the Beast. She will join the cast of De Montfort Hall's festive pantomime alongside returning favourites Jarred Christmas and Jack Ballard.

Known to quiz fans as The Vixen, Jenny has also shown television audiences her singing talents. She reached the final of The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019 and has performed alongside her Chase colleagues on Britain Get Singing.

Comedian Jarred and pantomime dame Jack return to the venue for this year's production. Beth Lyons will play Belle, the young woman at the heart of the fairy tale.

The story follows a prince who has been cursed to live as a beast and must find love before the final petal falls from an enchanted rose. As Belle discovers the person behind his frightening appearance, the production brings the familiar tale to the stage with songs, jokes and audience participation.

When is Beauty and the Beast in Leicester?

Beauty and the Beast runs at De Montfort Hall from December 12, 2026 until January 3, 2027. Tickets are on sale through the venue's website.

A relaxed performance takes place on December 30 at 11am and will also include British Sign Language interpretation. The 3pm performance that day will also be BSL interpreted.
