Stephen Graham takes on the role of a serial killer in Nocturne, the new Apple TV crime drama starring alongside Liev Schreiber and Zazie Beetz. The trailer has arrived ahead of the series’ global premiere on Friday 30 October, when the first two episodes will be released.

Graham plays Jurek Walter, whose attacks threaten a small Pennsylvania town and the family of homicide detective Jonah Lynn, played by Schreiber. For Jonah, a move intended to offer a quieter life instead brings danger directly to the people he loves.

Watch the official trailer here:

A former soldier, Jonah has left behind his work on Philadelphia’s streets to settle in western Pennsylvania. His hopes of a fresh start unravel as Jurek’s threat makes protecting his family inseparable from the investigation.

Beetz plays FBI agent Saga Bauer, whom Jonah regards as a daughter. As the search for Jurek’s last missing victim becomes increasingly desperate, Jonah must send Saga up against the killer, putting someone close to him at the centre of the case.

The story brings together a missing victim, a threatened family and a detective facing deeply personal decisions. Graham’s character is the danger connecting them, with Jonah forced to consider how far he will go to protect those closest to him.

The trailer and accompanying promotional artwork were released on 29 September. The drama runs for ten episodes, with a new instalment arriving every Friday after the opening double bill, taking the series through to Christmas Day.
