Shortland Street fans react as Sophia Crane makes emotional return

Shortland Street fans are celebrating after Dr Sophia Crane made her long awaited return, with the show’s official social media accounts sharing the first look at the emotional comeback.

The official Shortland Street Instagram and TikTok pages posted a series of clips showing Sophia coming face to face with Maeve for the first time since leaving Ferndale. The teaser was accompanied by the simple caption: “The doctor has returned.”

The post quickly generated hundreds of comments from viewers, many of whom admitted they were delighted to see Sophia back on screen. Fans also shared their hopes for what the comeback could mean for Sophia and Maeve, with many rooting for the pair to eventually reunite.
