RuPaul’s Drag Race UK All Stars confirmed as hit series begins exciting new era
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK All Stars is officially coming in 2027 as the hit LGBTQ+ series begins a new chapter on WOW Presents Plus.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is heading into a new era, with the first ever UK All Stars series officially confirmed and a new streaming home secured for the hugely popular franchise. The announcement means British queens will soon get another chance to return to the Werkroom and compete for the crown.
Drag Race UK All Stars will premiere exclusively on WOW Presents Plus in autumn 2027. No cast has been announced yet, but eight main series of Drag Race UK have created a huge line-up of fan favourites who could potentially return.
World of Wonder, the production company behind the Drag Race franchise, has described the move as a new chapter for the UK edition. Future series of Drag Race UK and UK vs The World will also move to WOW Presents Plus following the end of the programme’s BBC run.
British fans will also gain access to the wider Drag Race UK collection through the streaming service. All eight main series and all three editions of UK vs The World are set to be available alongside future episodes.
Drag Race UK first arrived on the BBC in 2019 and has since helped bring British drag and LGBTQ+ talent to a huge mainstream audience. Contestants including The Vivienne, Bimini, Tia Kofi, Danny Beard and La Voix have gone on to build major careers across television, theatre, music and live entertainment.
The current eighth series will continue on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer, so there is no immediate change for viewers. The bigger announcement is that the British franchise already has its next chapter lined up beyond the BBC.
For fans, UK All Stars could become one of the most exciting additions to the franchise yet. Previous contestants who narrowly missed the crown, became fan favourites or transformed their careers after the show could soon get another opportunity to compete.
Drag Race UK is not disappearing. With a new streaming home secured and the first UK All Stars series coming in autumn 2027, the British queens are getting an even bigger stage for their next chapter.
