Reacher Spin-Off Neagley Lands on Prime Video With All 8 Episodes at Once

The world of Reacher is about to get considerably bigger as fan favourite Frances Neagley steps into the spotlight for her own Prime Video action series.

Neagley premieres on 16 September, immediately after the conclusion of Reacher Season 4, and Prime Video is dropping all eight episodes at once. Maria returns in the title role, while Alan will also appear as Jack during the new series.

Frances has become one of the most recognisable characters outside Jack himself, having previously worked alongside him as part of the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. The spin-off now takes her away from simply supporting Jack and puts her at the centre of her own investigation.

Now working as a private investigator in Chicago, Frances learns that someone close to her from the past has died in what appears to be a suspicious accident. Convinced there is more behind the death, she sets out to uncover what really happened and soon finds herself following a trail towards something much more dangerous.

Prime Video describes her as becoming determined to get justice, using the skills she developed during her military career and everything she learned working alongside Jack. The result looks set to keep much of the hard-edged action and investigation that made Reacher such a huge success while giving Frances room to operate completely on her own terms.

Maria leads a cast that also includes Greyston as detective Hudson, Adeline as Renee, Jasper as Keno, Matthew as Pierce and Damon as Lawrence. Alan’s appearance connects the spin-off directly back to the original series without turning Neagley into another Jack-led story.

The timing is particularly clever because viewers will not have to wait long after finishing Reacher Season 4 before heading into the next story from the same universe. Instead, Prime Video is effectively extending the Reacher run straight into another eight-part action thriller.

It also marks the first major expansion of the television franchise beyond Jack. If Neagley connects with the enormous Reacher audience, it could open the door for an even wider universe built around Lee Child’s characters.

Prime Video has released the official trailer for Neagley, showing Frances taking control of her own investigation and giving viewers their first proper look at the action awaiting her. The footage also confirms Jack’s return as the two series become more closely connected.

Where to watch: Neagley premieres exclusively on Prime Video on 16 September, with all eight episodes available immediately. Reacher is also streaming on Prime Video for anyone wanting to catch up before Frances begins her own story.
