Olympic champion Tabby Stoecker joins Gladiators as BBC keeps new identity secret
Olympic champion Tabby Stoecker is joining Gladiators for Series 4, but the BBC is keeping her new Gladiator identity secret for now.
Olympic champion Tabby Stoecker is swapping the skeleton track for the Gladiators arena after being confirmed as the latest addition to the BBC show’s line-up.
The 26-year-old will make her debut when Gladiators returns for its fourth series in 2027, joining World’s Strongest Man winner Tom Stoltman among the new recruits.

There is still one big mystery surrounding her arrival. The BBC has not revealed Tabby’s Gladiator name or persona, meaning viewers will have to wait to discover exactly who she will become inside the arena.
Tabby arrives with an impressive sporting record. She won Olympic gold in the women’s skeleton at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, becoming the first British woman to win the event since Lizzy Yarnold in 2018.
Her sporting career has seen her race headfirst down ice tracks at speeds approaching 90mph, but she will now face an entirely different challenge when she takes on contenders in the Gladiators arena.

Speaking about joining the show, Tabby said she was “so excited” to become part of the programme, adding that Gladiators had been part of her childhood.
Bradley Walsh and Barney Walsh will return to host the new series, with the BBC promising more action when the competition returns.
