Love Is In The Blood returns as singles donate blood on blind dates

Love Is In The Blood is returning for a second series, with eight singles looking for a connection while giving blood. Adeola is back as matchmaker, guiding dates where the couples can hear each other but cannot see who is sitting opposite.

Each pairing brings together an experienced blood donor and someone donating for the first time. A divider separates them while questions about attraction, relationships and shared values help them decide whether they want to take things further.

The decision comes at the end of their conversation. Both must agree to meet face to face, otherwise they leave without discovering what their date looks like.

The programme continues Channel 4’s partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant following an award-winning first series. Its return was announced on 24 September, with the new episodes beginning on 30 September.
