ITV Exposes Racist and Violent Views Among Reform UK Politicians

ITV’s undercover investigation has revealed footage allegedly showing Reform UK politicians and activists making racist, sexist and violent comments, including one councillor calling for King Charles to be beheaded.

The year-long investigation, featured in a 90-minute Exposure documentary titled Undercover: A Year in Reform, raises questions about the party’s vetting procedures despite leader Nigel Farage’s repeated promises to remove extremists and bigots.

Reform councillor filmed making racist comments

Alan Feeney, a Reform councillor elected to Birmingham City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council in May 2026, was filmed making offensive remarks about Asian homeowners and Muslims.

According to ITV, Feeney described Asian residents as “parasites” and discussed forcibly removing non-white people from Britain. He was subsequently appointed Deputy Mayor of Solihull but announced he had left Reform following the investigation, citing personal reasons.

Feeney was also filmed alongside local election candidates Jamie Campbell and Chris Whelan. ITV reports that Whelan made graphic sexual comments about female candidates and repeatedly used an anti-Pakistani racial slur. Whelan resigned from Reform on October 12, citing personal and health reasons, while Campbell remains in post.

Councillor allegedly called for King Charles to be beheaded

Reform councillor Dean Miller, who represents Bromley, was filmed discussing immigration and making violent comments about migrants crossing the English Channel.

ITV reports that Miller also questioned King Charles’s loyalty after claiming the monarch was Muslim, before calling for him to be beheaded.

The footage included further racist remarks about black children and demographic changes in Bromley. Miller has since resigned from Reform, telling ITV he was heavily medicated at the time.

Reform politician says opponents should be shot

The investigation also features Raymond Dunning, a Reform councillor in Tameside, Greater Manchester, who reportedly described himself as far-right and discussed deporting people he believed should not be in Britain.

Dunning allegedly said politicians he considered traitors should be shot. ITV reports that he had been asked by Reform to stand as an MP at the next general election. He remains in post and did not respond to ITV’s request for comment.

ITV also filmed Hounslow councillors David Kerr and Adam Parkins discussing how Reform could appeal to voters while keeping certain controversial intentions out of public view.

Former Reform candidate Martin Roberts was separately filmed using racist language. He told ITV he regretted his inappropriate comments but denied being a bigot or extremist.

Reform responds to investigation

Reform UK said investigations had begun where members, activists and councillors had behaved inappropriately, adding that suspensions had occurred in some cases.

The party said it had improved and prioritised its vetting procedures but acknowledged that some individuals who did not share its values could initially pass through the system.

Undercover: A Year in Reform airs on Sunday, October 18, at 9.20pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
