I’m A Celebrity’s New Canadian Spin-Off Has a Major Twist
Ant and Dec's new I'm A Celebrity spin-off takes celebrities to Canada in pairs. Find out how The Wild Frontier works and when it airs.
Ant and Dec are taking I’m A Celebrity into the Canadian wilderness, but the new series will introduce a surprising twist to the familiar format.
I’m A Celebrity… The Wild Frontier arrives in 2027, with celebrities entering the competition in pairs rather than individually.
Contestants will be joined by relatives, partners, friends or fellow celebrities, facing challenges and elimination together.
Unlike the traditional Australian series, losing a challenge could ultimately mean both members of a celebrity partnership heading home.
The competition will feature survival challenges, food trials and a final public vote, with the winning pair crowned during a live grand final broadcast from London.
Ant and Dec have already completed filming in Canada, although ITV has yet to confirm the participating celebrity pairings or an exact broadcast date.
The companion programme I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked will also return, offering additional coverage of the new adventure.
Where to watch: I’m A Celebrity… The Wild Frontier will air on ITV1 (Freeview 3, Sky 103), STV and ITVX in 2027.
