Home and Away Spoilers 31 August–4 September: Eden’s Diagnosis and Beau Arrested
Home and Away spoilers for 31 August to 4 September see Eden receive a devastating diagnosis, Beau arrested and Dana forced to decide Sonny’s future.
Home and Away delivers a huge week as Eden’s unexplained health problems become frighteningly serious, while Beau finally faces the police and Sonny attempts to repair the damage his drug use has caused.
Dana is devastated when Sonny admits the money he borrowed from her and Remi went towards drugs. He explains that he hoped to recover without ever having to tell her, but that only makes Dana feel more betrayed. Remi later shares her own difficult history with drugs and encourages Dana to consider giving Sonny another chance, leading Dana to lay down firm conditions for their future.
Harper is also at breaking point when Cash finds her preparing to flee. He explains that Beau is already in custody and persuades her to use the bruising he caused as evidence. Harper bravely agrees, and Beau turns against her when he realises she will not provide his alibi before David finally arrests him.
The biggest concern surrounds Eden. Dizziness and exhaustion initially lead Abigail to wonder whether she could be pregnant, but a test is negative. Eden’s symptoms worsen until she collapses into Cash’s arms at Salt and is rushed to hospital.
Tests reveal an abnormal heartbeat and concerning blood results, while bruising across Eden’s back leads Amelia to arrange a bone marrow biopsy. Eden is eventually diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, meaning her bone marrow has stopped producing new blood cells. Amelia explains that treatments are available but confirms the condition can be fatal.
Elsewhere, David’s awkward barbecue plan gives him the chance to spend time alone with Amelia, and both make it clear they want to continue seeing each other. Zane also resurfaces and accepts Marilyn’s help, while Levi struggles with the possibility that his injured hand could threaten his medical career.
