Hollyoaks Spoilers 31 August–2 September: Mercedes Walks Into Deadly Trap
Mercedes unknowingly heads into danger in Hollyoaks spoilers for 31 August to 2 September as Gemma’s plan also puts Ste and Leela at risk.
Mercedes is unknowingly heading straight towards danger as Gemma’s latest plan takes a sinister turn in Hollyoaks.
Gemma gives Mercedes a spa voucher, apparently offering her the chance to relax. Mercedes then invites Leela and Ste to join her, but none of them realise what is actually unfolding behind the scenes.
Gemma has arranged for a gang of men to follow Mercedes’ car as part of her plan to dispose of her. By the time Mercedes sets off, Ste and Leela have also been drawn into the situation, potentially putting all three in danger.
The scheme comes after Gemma finds herself facing uncomfortable questions. Donny wants answers from his daughter, while Xander later interrupts a touching moment between Gemma and Warren to accuse her of murder.
Lucas attempts to stop Xander from digging any further after returning to the village. He later faces questions from Leah and decides to explain himself, hoping she might respond by sharing some secrets of her own.
Ste is also struggling badly with the loss of Rex. His grief leads to a relapse as he hits the bottle and drunkenly accuses James of murdering him. Warren intervenes, but James unexpectedly shows concern for Ste as he spirals.
Leah is shocked by Ste’s condition, although his desire to uncover the truth behind Rex’s death remains strong.
Elsewhere, Nancy suffers an MS relapse and Dee Dee turns to Abigail for help. Their relationship later deteriorates, leaving Dee Dee facing an uncomfortable classroom moment when she nervously reads aloud with Abigail watching.
