Nancy faces a frightening health setback in Hollyoaks when her multiple sclerosis symptoms suddenly return, leading to a dash to hospital as those around her realise something is seriously wrong.
Upcoming scenes see Nancy struggling at school when she experiences a relapse linked to her MS. Dee Dee quickly becomes concerned and is forced to seek help as Nancy’s condition worsens.
With the situation becoming increasingly serious, Dee Dee turns to Abigail for assistance. Nancy is eventually taken to hospital, putting her health firmly back at the centre of the story and leaving those closest to her facing another worrying period.
Nancy has previously had to manage the impact of MS alongside the pressures of family life and her work at the school. The latest setback comes without warning, making the scenes particularly difficult for Dee Dee as she witnesses Nancy becoming unwell and has to act quickly.
