Hollyoaks Kathleen-Angel makes secret pregnancy decision

Kathleen-Angel faces one of the biggest decisions of her life in Hollyoaks next week as she quietly makes plans concerning her pregnancy.

Still keeping what she is going through largely to herself, Kathleen-Angel cancels plans with Ant before secretly arranging an appointment at a clinic. She intends to terminate the pregnancy, but those closest to her remain unaware of what she is planning.

The secrecy leaves Kathleen-Angel dealing with an enormous amount alone, particularly as her relationship with Ant continues around a situation he does not yet fully understand.

An unexpected conversation with Dee Dee also brings the two teenagers closer when they realise that they are both keeping important secrets. Neither is prepared to explain exactly what is happening, but the moment highlights just how much Kathleen-Angel is carrying without the support of her family.

There is another deeply personal development elsewhere when Theresa reveals that she is infertile, bringing a very different experience surrounding fertility into the family at the same time.

Kathleen-Angel's story, however, remains focused on the choice she is trying to make for herself. Although she has arranged the clinic appointment, the upcoming scenes leave the eventual outcome unresolved. That means viewers will have to wait to discover whether Kathleen-Angel goes ahead with her plan and when Ant or the rest of the family finally learn the truth.

For now, she is determined to keep control of the decision while saying as little as possible to everyone around her.
