Hollyoaks James Fears He Is Being Framed Over Ste
Hollyoaks sees James insist he is being framed for Ste’s disappearance as gaps in his memory leave him fighting for answers.
James becomes convinced somebody is deliberately framing him for Ste’s disappearance in Hollyoaks as the mystery takes another disturbing turn. With Ste still missing and answers proving difficult to find, James finds himself increasingly worried that attention is being pushed directly towards him.
James has already been struggling with gaps in his memory surrounding the period when Ste vanished. Those missing pieces make it harder for him to explain exactly what happened and leave him trying to reconstruct his own movements rather than simply relying on what he remembers.

His search for answers includes contacting a van hire company as he attempts to establish more about the missing period. Instead of uncovering something that convinces him he is responsible, James becomes increasingly certain that somebody else is manipulating events.
James insists that he is being framed. He believes evidence is being made to point towards him, raising the possibility that somebody connected to Ste’s disappearance is deliberately trying to divert suspicion.

Leah remains convinced that James is innocent, but the wider situation continues to place him under pressure. His inability to account for every part of the timeline means he cannot easily dismiss every question being raised around him.
For James, the mystery now has two urgent parts. He needs to discover what happened to Ste, but he also needs to understand why he believes somebody wants him to take the blame.
With Ste still absent, James is left fighting to prove that the picture being built around him does not tell the true story.
