Hollyoaks brings Sienna Blake back to the village

Sienna Blake is heading back to Hollyoaks, with the character returning to the village after her latest spell away and immediately finding herself surrounded by familiar faces and unresolved tension.

Her return comes after the case against her is dropped because Clare Devine’s body has not been found. Once free, Sienna heads back home, but she quickly discovers that life in the village has moved on considerably while she has been away.

One of the biggest shocks waiting for her is James Nightingale. Sienna discovers that James is alive and has been staying in her flat, creating an unexpected reunion between the pair.

Sienna soon makes it clear that the living arrangement cannot continue indefinitely and tells James that he will need to find somewhere else to stay. His presence is only the beginning of what promises to be an uncomfortable return home.

Mercedes McQueen is also far from pleased to see Sienna back. Her anger over Sienna’s previous treatment of Cleo remains very much alive, ensuring there is little chance of a warm welcome when the two women cross paths again.

With several relationships still carrying the weight of what happened before she left, Sienna’s return looks set to reopen old tensions almost immediately.
