High Tides soundtrack: Clara and Valerie’s new album revealed

High Tides fans are getting a whole new way to enjoy Clara and Valerie’s love story, with a dedicated 14-track album from Faceless Design Collective.

HIGH TIDES: THE SOUNDTRACK arrives on Thursday 17 September, celebrating their relationship through music that explores its affection, passion, emotional depth and lighter moments.

Speaking exclusively to SoapLandTV, Annette “Netty” Neal has shared the inspiration behind the album and her enthusiasm for working with High Tides author Fernanda.

She wanted the music to reflect the full experience of following Clara and Valerie, giving listeners something to connect with across the different stages of their story.

“The album is 14 tracks dedicated to Clara and Valerie’s story, and I’ve tried to make it feel like a soundtrack to the whole emotional arc rather than one fixed genre or mood. It moves through their highs, lows, cute moments, hot moments, deeper moments and lighter ones too. Each track is meant to evoke a different feeling, visual or emotional state, so the genres ebb and flow much like the tides themselves.”

For anyone discovering High Tides through the album, Clara and Valerie are the couple at the heart of Fernanda’s ongoing romance story.

SoapLandTV previously explored how their story developed through writing and AI video, bringing their relationship to audiences in different forms.

The soundtrack gives that audience another way to spend time with the characters, while building on a creative partnership Annette clearly values.

She also has an exciting prospect to share with fans: ambitions for High Tides extend into literature, television and film.

“The collaboration with Fernanda has become a really powerful creative partnership. She has an incredible instinct for emotional storytelling, and HIGH TIDES already feels much bigger than a series. There are ambitious plans for where it grows next across literature, TV, film and, of course…music!”

There is a personal connection behind the collaboration, too, with technology helping Annette and Fernanda find each other despite living in different parts of the world.

That introduction has given them the opportunity to share ideas and create something together around characters they both care about.

“What I also love is the role technology has played in all of this. AI, social platforms and digital storytelling are essentially what introduced Fernanda and me as humans in the first place, despite us being in different parts of the world.”

Annette hopes the album will help fans feel closer to Clara and Valerie whenever they listen, while honouring the characters Fernanda has created. Her affection for the project comes through just as strongly when she describes the creative trust behind it.

“For me, that’s the most interesting part. The tools may be digital, but the trust, ideas, emotion and creative chemistry are completely human.”

For readers and viewers who have become attached to Clara and Valerie, the soundtrack offers another way to enjoy their relationship between chapters and videos.

Annette’s intention is to give those feelings room in the music, whether listeners connect most with the tenderness, the attraction or the lighter moments that make the couple feel familiar.

With 14 tracks dedicated to Clara and Valerie, the fans will definitely find something they want to return to, keeping that connection alive long after they have finished reading or watching.
